To take part in the Music for Youth Season, all groups should enter the Regional Festival Series, which takes place in multiple venues across the UK in the Spring. The online entry form should answer any questions you have as you go along, but should you have any other queries please click on the links to the left of your screen, or call MFY on 020 8870 9624 at any time. Below are a few things to remember about the Regional Festivals:
• Entry is free!
• Any group up to the AGE of 21 can take part
• You will have a performance TIME LENGTH of 10 mins
• We can only guarantee places for your first three entries
• There are no repertoire restrictions and different pieces can be performed at Regional and National Festivals.

Closing date for entries is Monday 15 December. The deadline for receipt of Recorded Entries is Monday 9 March 2009.

Rock, Pop and Urban Groups
Music for Youth is pleased to announce that we will be holding a small number of Rock, Pop & Urban Regional Festivals throughout the country in 2009. Based on the same structure and ethos of the Regional Festivals, the Rock, Pop & Urban Regional Festivals will be specially designed to cater for the technical needs of groups. We plan to hold festivals in the following locations:
Birmingham
Cardiff
London
Stockton-on-Tees
If you are in a Rock, Pop or Urban group of two or more and are under 21, simply select one of the Rock, Pop and Urban events when you enter your group. (Please note that space will be extremely limited at these events)
